Thank you for your interest in LSLC-CDC. We are located at the corner of Clemson and Hard Scrabble Road in NE Columbia as an extension of Living Springs Lutheran Church.
We offer high quality care and small class size for early childhood development, with full day programs. We are also a nationally and state accredited program with an A+ Rating.

Our Purpose:
To provide a high-quality early education and after school care that nurtures the development of children in a Christian environment. And to serve as a ministry to the surrounding community.
Our Philosophy:
We know that all children are unique individuals and deserve to be loved, cared for and offered the same opportunities for growth.
Our Goals:
- To provide physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development in a Christian environment.
- To encourage each child to develop to their fullest potential at their own rate in their own style and ability.
- To provide a learning environment that is rich, varied, warm, stimulating and safe for young children.
- To curate experiences based on the stages of development in young children and provide opportunities for exploration and discovery.
- To promote the development of a positive self-concept and self-discipline, facilitate language development and increase knowledge and understanding.
- To emphasize life skills including Christian beliefs, making positive choices, getting along with/ caring for others and themselves.
- To introduce academic skills through play as children develop.
- To support positive family life and work in partnership with families to facilitate the growth and development of their child(ren). Families are valued, respected and encouraged to participate in their child(ren)’s learning and growth through LSLC-CDC.
