- What is the cost of tuition for each child’s class? Infant (6 weeks to 12 months) & Toddlers (12-24 months): $1,065.00 a month Two-year-olds: $1,000.00 a month Three- & Four-year-olds: $955.00 a month Afterschool (5K-5th): $400.00 a month/ Summer Camp (5K-5th): $880.00 a month

*There is no additional fee for school age children to attend full time on public school holidays. - How do we join the waitlist? Is there a waitlist fee?
- Before being placed on our waitlist we need families to fill out a waitlist form, the form can be found on our website by hovering over the “Get to know our school” tab and clicking on “Waitlist form”.
- Yes, our waitlist fee is a nonrefundable $50.00 for the first and $40.00 for each additional child. (May be paid with cash, check or money order)
- Once the form is submitted please send in your preferred form of payment. If you would like to fill out a waitlist form in person you are more than welcome to come into the center to complete the form and pay the fee.
- Please be sure to contact us on a 3-month basis to ensure your interest in the spot, if there is no contact for more than 3 months your child will be removed from the waitlist.
- Do you provide part time care?
- We do not, the LSLC-CDC only provides full day care for infants to 5 years. The center has an after-school program (K-5) where our buses pick up the children from school and will bring them back to LSLC-CDC.
- For our afterschool program, we only pick up from schools in our area and there must be 3 or more students from the school for us to add it as a stop.
- How does pick up and drop off work?
- You are able to pick up and drop off your child at any time between our business hours (7:30 to 5:30). We understand that our families are busy and sometimes have other activities going on, so we do not enforce a certain pick up or drop off time.
- We only ask that families bring their child(ren) ready for the time of day that they are being dropped off.
- Is there an enrollment fee?
- Yes, the enrollment the fee is $180.00 and $150.00 for any additional child. (May be paid with cash, check or money order)
6. How is tuition processed?
- Tuition is processed using Tuition Express only and processed monthly. (it will go through on the 5th business day of every month)
7. What is a late fee?
- A late fee will need to be paid if the family of a child is late picking up their child (past 5:30). The cost is $2.00 per minute per child. (All late fees paid in cash only)
8. Does the center accept ABC vouchers?
- Yes, we are proud partners with ABC and we do accept ABC vouchers.
9. Is there a tuition credit if my child misses a day (sick, emergency, vacation)?
- No, the tuition will remain the same.
10. What is the sick policy for the children?
- You will be able to access our sick policy on the website by hovering over the “A bit more” tab and selecting “Sick Policy”.
11. What does security look like?
- We take the safety of our children, families, and staff very seriously and we are a secure center.
12. Is there an outside play area?
- Yes, we have two outside areas for play – a younger side and older side- both have age appropriate toys and equipment.
13. What meals does the center provide?
- The center provides a morning snack and an afternoon snack. Families prepare and send their child’s lunch each day. For more details on this topic hover over the “A bit more” tab and select “Lunch and Snack”.
14. What is NAEYC?
NAEYC stands for the National Association for the Education of Young children. It is a national preschool accrediting program. Accredited early childhood programs voluntarily measure up to national standards of quality established by NAEYC, the professional organization for early childhood educators. Going beyond minimum licensing standards, accredited programs make a commitment to excellence. Living Springs Lutheran Preschool and After School is a NAEYC Accredited Program.
15. What curriculum does the school follow?
We believe in children learning through play. The classrooms will be child centered and children will learn skills through playing in “centers” such as Home Living, Blocks, Science, Art, Writing, and Sand & Water. The book Creative Curriculum by Diane Dodge will be used as a reference.
16. When will the children take naps?
Naptime is between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. for all children.
17. How and when is lunch served?
Lunchtime is between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and families provide lunch for their child(ren). Milk will be provided to your child(ren) during lunch and both (AM & PM) snack times. Being proud partners of NAEYC & ABC Quality, we provide well rounded and nutritious snacks, and we ask that our families follow the same guidelines for their child(ren)’s lunch
18. What is ABC Quality?
ABC Quality is a state program designed to aid families and children in finding quality and affordable childcare. 19. When will the children play outside?
All children in our center will have at least 3 hours a day outside if not more depending on temperature and weather.
20. What are your hours of operation?
We are open from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. We will be closed for the following holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth and July 4th. If Christmas Day falls on Thursday or Sunday, we will close the day after Christmas. We will also be closed for a full day before Summer Camp starts and for a full day before the school year starts for Teacher In-Service Days.
21. Will children go on field trips?
Yes, children aged three years and older may go on field trips.
22. How are you planning to incorporate a Christian environment?
Children will be exposed to Christian values through role modeling by the staff. A weekly bible story will be taught, and children will say grace before meals. Twice a week, children ages three years old and up will attend Bible Time & Chapel. The teachers will incorporate Chapel Extension activities in their classrooms throughout the week.
